Talty Field

Brookside Reservation has been a center for sports and recreation since the early 1900s. As one of the oldest neighborhoods in Cleveland, this 132-acre reservation offers baseball fields, picnic areas, walking paths, and cycling trails.

Talty Field at the Jim Thome All-Star Complex was renovated in 2019 as part of the MLB All-Star Game in Cleveland and is named after Jim Thome, an MLB Hall of Famer and former Cleveland Indians player.

Brookside Reservation has been the official home to Wildcat Baseball since the 2021 season. As of June 2024, the Baseball Cats have collected a 50-11-1 record from Talty Field, including a District Championship in 2022.

Talty Field features an all-turf playing surface and plays host to many Cleveland Public Schools during the spring baseball season.
