Saint Ignatius High School

2026 will be his 34th year coaching for Rick Lytle.  He has served as an Offensive Coordinator for 28 of those years. A two-time State Champion. In 2023, he led Gilmour Academy's Offense to 35 points per game. The following season, in 2024, Gilmour's Offense averaged 38 points per game.  

Coach Lytle has developed numerous quarterbacks to All-State honors who have gone on to great college careers, including the following:

• Joe Walland (Lake Catholic to Yale), All-State, Player of the Year
• Jay Battung (Lake Catholic to Penn), All League
• Dan Bartholomew (Lake Catholic to Capital), All League

• Howard Drake (Euclid), All State, Numerous Euclid Passing Records
• Jake Kavcic (Gilmour to CWRU), All Area, 35 TD's Senior Year
• Cooper Panteck (Gilmour to Robert Morris), All Area, 41 Pass TD's Senior Year
